Edge Protectors
Edge protectors don’t just prevent the cargo’s weight from damaging the straps: they also prevent the straps from damaging the cargo. The forces at work when a heavy item is secured by strapping will always leave an indentation on the item. Edge Protectors are there to ensure that the surface and shape of the cargo is never imprinted with the marks of the straps used to secure it.
GTF provides three edge protectors 50mm and 100mm for general purpose applications; and a 60mm edge protector that is designed particularly for applications where the edge of the product must not be damaged such as plaster board and paper.
